Volleyball Fundraiser A Success

I extend my sincerest thanks to everyone who helped make our second Annual Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament a success. The event raised some much needed funds for two of our most in-demand programs, our food pantry, which served more than 13,000 people and provided more than 77,000 meals last year and CYO, which offers a wide variety of recreational and educational programs for area youth including the popular mentoring program for elementary and high school students and the summer drop-in recreation program.

This event would not have been possible if not for the support we received from Jolene Bechtel of Alliance Bank and our official sponsors, Alliance Bank and Burritt Motors. I would also like to thank Lee Victory of Cheap Seats Bar & Grill for hosting the event and his generous donation to our agency and a very special thank you to all the players who participated in the tournament and the many friends of Catholic Charities who supported the event through their attendance.

The care and concern that you showed for your community through your support of Catholic Charities of Oswego County is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Mary-Margaret Pezzella-Pekow, executive director
