VOLNEY – Students who have done an outstanding job throughout the month of April at Volney Elementary School were recently honored with Principal’s Awards and On-a-Roll certificates.

During the monthly Spirit Day assembly, Principal Todd Terpening presented several students with On-a-Roll certificates because of their academic or social achievement upon setting a goal for themselves with their classroom teacher.
Honorees include: kindergartners Edward Bonning, Lucas Rando and Jacob Bragg,
first graders Stefan Rupert, Ava King and Lyleah Sawyer,
second graders Wyatt Conger and Nick Richards,
third graders Myleigh Knopp, Jose Vosseller, Austin DiBartalo and Allie Deuel,
fourth graders Khloe Bergman, Hayden Smith and Jeff Landers,
fifth graders Jacob Ingersoll, James DeCare and Jaden Marr,
and sixth graders Theodore Pederson, Mandy Miller and Jaren Fellows.

Also honored were students who exhibited self-control throughout the month of April.
Principal Terpening said each of the Principal’s Award honorees have proven that they can make a difference in the school day.
Those classroom role models are: kindergartners Jack Munger and JaeRed DelaPena,
first graders Hallie Shepard, Lacey McClure and Jaxson Dorschel,
second graders Bella Vant and Aryana Cary,
third graders Liberty Allard, Keagan Shortslef and Rowan Guynn,
fourth graders Aryan Khera and Lainah Baker,
fifth graders Cole Havens, Dominic Vosseller and Nazzerene Donalson
and sixth graders Laura Bartlett, Riley Nalle and Tyler Sherman.
