Walk Thru Rural Cemetery on September 12

The first “Walk Thru Oswego Town Rural Cemetery” in Fruit Valley sponsored by the Town of Oswego Historical Society will be Saturday September 12 at 10 am.

The cemetery is a beautiful example of the Victorian age cemetery. Graves of early settlers and military figures will be visited. Two Congressional Medal of Honor recipients, Dr. Mary E. Walker and James Lee of the Civil War are buried there. The tour will be begin at the cemetery garage where refreshments will be served before the walk begins.
