Walmart Provides Spark Good Grants for Emergency Preparedness and Search and Rescue

CENTRAL SQUARE WALMART SUPPORTS SEARCH AND RESCUE – The Central Square Walmart also provided a Spark Good local grant to the Oswego County Unmanned Aircraft (UAS) Program in support of the Oswego County Pioneer Search and Rescue Team. The $750 donation will be used by the UAS program to support the purchase of a drone for search and rescue operations. FULTON WALMART HELPS STRENGTHEN EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS – The Fulton Walmart provided a $1,000 Spark Good local grant to the Oswego County Emergency Management Office to fund emergency preparedness efforts. The donation will support community preparedness at outreach events such as the Oswego County Fair and other festivals.
