OSWEGO, NY –- The Warm Up Oswego Scavenger/Treasure Hunt is set to kick off on Feb. 1 and run through Feb. 6 at local participating locations in Oswego as part of the 11th Annual Warm Up Oswego Fire and Ice Festival.
Participants will receive a “a treasure map” available at all participating businesses plus at www.warmuposwegfestival.com
The “treasure map” contains the full list of all the participating locations.
There is a two-foot plush chili pepper at each location.
Once it’s been spotted, participants much match the correct clue to the business they are in on their map.
Once completed. the “treasure map” will be stamped, bringing the participant one step closer to the grand prize that is worth almost $1,000.
The entire “treasure map” must be completed for entry into the grand prize drawing.
Additional prizes will also be up for grabs! Completed entry forms must be turned into the festival’s information desk located at Elim Grace Church on Feb. 6 by 4 p.m. for entry.
The drawing will take place at 4:45 p.m. at Elim Grace Church.
The Scavenger/Treasure Hunt is being sponsored by Shop Oswego Live Oswego.
The grand prize has been graciously donated by JP Jewelers.
