OSWEGO, NY – Lakeside Artisans will host a ‘Thursday Artists’ workshop with watercolorist Jeanne Dupre on Sept. 29, from 5 – 7 p.m. during the farmers’ market. The workshop will concentrate on fall trees.

Dupre is primarily a watercolor landscape artist.

She said she is “…inspired by daily walks and the ever changing seasons of central New York.”

Dupre’s wish is that someone viewing her work will pause a moment in their busy day and admire nature’s beauty.

She has been painting professionally for close to 20 years.

For the past four years, she has been involved with the Adirondack Museum.

She has sold her prints in the gift shops at Blue Mountain and their Lake Placid store. Her most recent projects include commissioned oil paintings for rustic furniture builders across the Adirondacks.

Her work can be seen at Lakeside Artisans in Oswego and at a variety of shops throughout the Adirondacks Region.
