Minetto fourth grader Arlo Olson has attended the event each year with his mother Dinah who serves at the task force treasurer.

Arlo shared many valuable ideas and suggestions that could help the event grow and expand activities for children and parents.

Arlo made suggestions about children’s activities, marketing, and raffles for this year’s upcoming walk.

“Hearing Arlo’s ideas gave our task force additional insight that we have missed over the years as organizers,” noted OCTAF chair Julie Chetney. “We are seriously considering some of his suggestions for this year’s event.”

The “Family Fun Walk” is planned for April 24 at Leighton School and the Wilber Track and Field in Oswego.

  1. It sounds like Arlo is quite a boy. I am so glad he offered his valuable insight and that it was taken seriously. It promises to be a successful and enjoyable event. Way to go Arlo (and Aro’s mom)!
