YP Voice Plans Informational Event

OSWEGO, NY- If you’re a young professional, entrepreneur or someone who plays an active role in the Oswego community, you’re invited to a kickoff event to learn about the evolution and direction of YP Voice of Oswego, a young professional and entrepreneur networking and community enrichment organization formed in 2005.

The event is free and will be held Friday 6 to 8 p.m. at G.S. Steamers, East First Street.

The event will feature music from local performer Galen McCown, free food, and a short orientation to the group by president Daniel Laird in addition to a look into the future and direction to the organization.

A cash bar will be available.

“Our board clearly recognizes the economic and societal benefits of attracting and retaining young professionals to our community,” said Laird. “We are looking forward to engaging the community and showing everyone, particularly the young professional community, what a great place Oswego is to call home. We hope to accomplish this through active volunteerism and board involvement with organizations in the Oswego area.”

YP Voice of Oswego, Inc., was formed to guide the growth and evolution of Oswego County by organizing professional, social and community involvement within Oswego’s young professional community.

Membership is open to all people in the community who wish to accomplish this goal.
