County Legislature Recognizes Older Americans


OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee presented a proclamation designating May as Older Americans Month.

For more than 60 years, the Older Americans Act has provided services that help older adults remain healthy and independent.

These programs promote activity, wellness and social inclusion, support family caregivers, and address issues of exploitation, neglect and abuse.
