County Tourism Office Provides Free Publicity for Summer and Fall Events

Hundreds of events, such as the “Madeline in Oswego” Bemelmans Festival, will be included in the 2018 Summer-Fall calendar of events produced by the Oswego County Tourism Office this spring. This year’s Madeline Festival will be June 2 at Fort Ontario State Historic Site and the Oswego Art Association. The event features a children’s parade, kite-making and kite-flying, and a variety of family activities celebrating Ludwig Bemelmans’ beloved Madeline characters. Pictured flying the kites they made at last year’s festival are Luke and Abbie Mulcahey of Oswego.
