OSWEGO, NY – The time for murder and mayhem has finally arrived.

Sherri Baker and Chris Bixler share a rare humorous moment in Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap.”

Parker and her cast have been hard at work fine tuning this classic mystery and are ready for an audience.

The cast includes the husband and wife team of Chris and Dale Bixler.

Both Bixlers also worked with Parker a few years ago on another great Christie original, “Ten Little Indians” (also known as “And Then There Were None”).

Chris plays the co-owner of the play’s setting, “Monkswell Manor.”

He and his stage wife, Sherri Baker, also appeared as husband and wife in the very successful musical, “Meet Me in St. Louis” a couple of summers back.

His real wife, Dale, plays Mrs. Boyle, a role played twice previously by the late, beloved Virginia “Ginny” Ranous.

Dale had the distinction of snapping up the lead role in “Social Security,” a comedy staged in dinner theatre format at the Elks Club a few seasons ago.

The Bixlers have a further connection to the Oswego Players through their gorgeous white house on Route 104 West.

This lovely estate was formerly owned by the late Kit and Perry Reynolds, two long-time and well-respected members of the group.

Rounding out the cast are Nelson Metz, Steve Standish, Tammy Wilkinson, Jonathan Altman and Bobby Fontana.

Show dates are set for Feb. 18 and 19; 25 and 26 at 8 p.m., with a matinee on Feb. 27 at 2 p.m.

Reservations may be made by calling the Oswego Players’ box office at 343-5138.

Ticket prices are $10/adults, $8/seniors and $7/students. missing or outdated ad config
