OSWEGO COUNTY – What began as a lesson to help students identify colors transformed into a beautiful rainbow mural at Minetto Elementary School.
Students in Keeghan McSweeney and Kristen Spedaliere’s classes learned about primary colors and showcased their knowledge by creating a rainbow made of different color handprints from each student. The handprints stretch from red on one side to purple on the other, forming a colorful rainbow mural.
“We wanted to show students how we are all connected,” McSweeney said. “When we work together, we can create beautiful things. That’s exactly what these students did.”
