Oswego Children’s Theater’s Holiday Twin Bill Features a Large Cast

The Oswego Children’s Theater has completed casting for their next production, a Holiday Twin Bill of two one act plays. “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”and “Our Christmas Carol”.

Both Plays in the program feature a large mixed casts of area youth and adults The first show is the hilarious “Best Christmas Pageant Ever”, by Barbara Robinson; tells the story of what happens to the annual church Christmas Pageant when the notorious Herdman Family invades the festivities, the show features Abby Field and Kyle Osmun, as Beth and Charlie Bradley, along with Allison St. Pierre Livesey and Ken Snow, as their parents, and Joey Cogswell, Jessica Johnston, Braeden Livesey, Nicholas Smegelsky, Declan Hawthorne, and Tessa Smith as the notorious Herdman Family.

Other cast members include McKenna Bahner , Connie Brozenich, Mary Buske, Meredith Cheasare, Zachary Demott, Jenifer Duval, Jessie Faulkner, Hailey Giocondo, Caroline Gray, Jonah Hawthorne, Lena Kimball, Chole and  Renee Laduc, Cassidee Larkin, Astrid St. Pierre Livesey, Alyssa Morley, Ashley, Megan and Beverly Murtha, Aidan and Courtney Osmun, Gianna and Sarina Sciaccia, Hunter Scaffer, Caroline and Elizabeth Sincavage, Cierra Stone, Margrita Tessitore, Amber Tickle, Jonathon and Abby Tsutsumishita, Kristina Veyan, and Alana and Athena White. “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc.

The second show “Our Christmas Carol”, written by Wayne Mosher Jr. retells the story of the original “Christmas Carol” with a modern twist. Featured players include, Larry Rose as Eb, Norman Berlin III, as Marley, David Russell as Bob Cratchit. and Beverly Murtha as Mrs Cratchit.  Other Cast members include Rachel Barlow, Norman Berlin II, Erin Chetney , Clara, Mary, and Nora Culeton,  Sara Duplessis, Danielle Faivus, Morganne Farrell, Becky and Emily Gray, Cheyenne McLean, Megan Mannicia, Wayne Mosher Jr. Maddison Neuland,  Morgan Russell, Joshua Sheirer, Ryan and Rebecca Smith,  Nikki Snow, and Adam and Hailey Thompson.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” and “Our Christmas Carol”, are slated to be performed on December 5, 6, 12, 13 at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on December 6, 7, 13 & 14 at 2 p.m. at the Frances Marion Brown Theater, at Fort Ontario in Oswego.
