Entries are being accepted through August 28 for the 10th annual Erie Canalway Photo Contest.
Winning photos will be featured in the 2016 Erie Canalway calendar, which is available free of charge in December.
“We’re excited to kick off our 10th year of this popular contest,” said Jean Mackay, director of communications and outreach. “It’s a great way to share the many great places and distinctive character of the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor.”
Amateur and professional photographers are invited to submit images in four contest categories: On the Water, Along the Trail, Canal Communities, and Classic Canal.
Images must be taken with the National Heritage Corridor, which is comprised of the Erie, Oswego, Cayuga-Seneca, and Champlain Canals, their historic alignments, and surrounding communities.
