The Friends of History In Fulton, N. Y., Inc. will hold their annual Porch Party Fund-raiser at their John Wells Pratt House Museum front porch and yard, 177 South First Street, Fulton, N. Y., on Friday, June 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 P. M. The party will be held rain or shine and will take place inside the Pratt House if there is rain.
The members’ of the Friends of History have a reputation for serving delicious food at their fund raising events and will serve a large array of hot and cold hors d’ oeuvres and desserts, together with wine and punch to their guests at the Porch Party.
The Salt Potatoes, lifetime acoustic musicians, will entertain with traditional music from this country and the British Isles, with perhaps a good jazz tune, pop tune or Swedish waltz thrown in. The Salt Potatoes are multi-instrumentalists and perform on various combinations of guitar, fiddle, banjo and mandolin and their good-natured rhythms and crowd pleasing vocals will delight those gathered in comfortable chairs on the Pratt House lawn.
Proceeds from this fund-raiser will be used to maintain the John Wells Pratt House local history museum and the programs of the Friends of History In Fulton, N. Y., Inc. The Friends of History is a 501-(C) (3) tax exempt organization.
