FULTON, N.Y. – For the sixth straight year, Fulton churches and community organizations will host a Community Thanksgiving Dinner. This year the location of the dinner has changed and will be held at First United Church of Fulton, 33 South Third Street. The free dinner, which features turkey with all of the trimmings will be served between noon and 2:00 p.m.
An organizing committee consisting of representatives of several Fulton Churches and The Salvation Army is busy planning the sixth annual dinner. The dinner is open to everyone, and features a complete Thanksgiving Dinner and an opportunity for good food and fellowship.
“Every year we get more people,” a spokesperson said, estimating that close to 200 people participated last year. “Diners should just walk-in. It is a wonderful sit down meal.”
First United Church of Fulton is located on South Third Street between Cayuga Street and Utica Street on the City’s east side. There is plenty of on and off street parking located near the Church’s dining room entrance off the parking lot.
