FULTON – The Fulton Family YMCA’s new Buddy-Up For Fitness program offers people an opportunity to get fit together while saving significant money on their YMCA membership, CEO Shonna Sargent announced.
Under the BFF program, current YMCA members who bring in a new member will each receive 20% off their YMCA membership for as long as both remain members.
The special discount also applies to two people who join the Fulton YMCA together.
“It’s much more fun to get healthy when you’ve got a buddy to share it with,” said Sargent. “Our mission is to spread good health across our area and we’re working hard every day to help bring more people to the Fulton Family YMCA.”
The Fulton Family YMCA offers a fully-stocked fitness center and weight room, a gym, therapeutic pool, steam room and sauna.
Group fitness classes, cycle classes and water fitness classes are free with membership.
The Y also offers reduced rates to members on a broad range of activities, including personal training, massage therapy, music lessons, swim lessons and much more.
Older adults will find classes and activities tailored to their needs, along with social events.
A busy preschool, summer camp, positive activities for teens and the Speed Demons swim team are among the offerings for young people with family memberships.
The discount is only open to Fulton YMCA members who are paying the standard membership rate.
Participants must pay by bank draft and have a valid email address.
New members must not have been member of the Fulton YMCA within the previous 90 days.
