FULTON, NY, 1/18/16 – 7:00 PM — The travel advisory that was issued during the afternoon of 1/18/16 urging the limitation of all unnecessary travel has been lifted.

The Fulton Department of Public Works Crews have been working diligently and have been able to get the roadways sufficiently cleared for safer travel.

At the current time there is more snow in the forecast and many roads are still snow-covered so motorists are still asked to drive cautiously

FULTON, NY – As of 1 p.m., Fulton Police urge caution for motorists traveling in and around the city of Fulton today (Jan. 18).

In recent hours, steady snowfall combined with blowing snow has made travel and visibility on city streets hazardous.

The snowfall is expected to continue the rest of today and into the evening hours.

City Department of Public Works crews are in the process of clearing main streets.

However, it may take several hours before side streets can be cleared.

Fulton Police recommend no unnecessary travel in and around the city of Fulton.

Police also remind persons in the city of Fulton that on-street parking is prohibited from 1:30 to 5:30a.m.

Violators will be ticketed and may be towed.
