FULTON, NY – At about 1 a.m. today (Oct. 12), Roy T. Durgan Jr., 19, of 609 Oneida St., Fulton, was arrested for Robbery in the 2nd Degree.
At approximately 12:38 a.m. while in the 400 block of Worth Street, it is alleged that Durgan, while in the process of committing a larceny from a vehicle, was confronted by a property owner.
Durgan then attempted to flee the scene but was chased by the owner/victim.
The suspect allegedly then became involved in a physical altercation with the owner/victim and during the course of the struggle struck the victim causing a laceration to the back of the owner/victim’s head.
The victim was treated on the scene by Fulton Fire Department and Menter Ambulance.
Durgan was also wanted by the Fulton Police on an active arrest warrant for Petit Larceny.
Durgan was charged with Robbery in the 2nd Degree.
He was arraigned in Fulton City Court by Judge Spencer Ludington.
Bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 secured bail bond.
Durgan was remanded to the Oswego County Jail.
