Fulton Speedway Friday Night Of Highbank Holdup Weekend Cancelled; Novice Sportsman Added To Super DIRT Series Saturday

FULTON, NY – Due to recent rains and forecasted cold temperatures, Fulton Speedway track management has cancelled Friday night, April 24, portion of ‘Highbank Holdup’ weekend. All systems are go, however, for the big Highbank Holdup on Saturday.

On Saturday, led by Defending Tracey Road Equipment Modified Track Champion Larry Wight and Defending Modified Super DIRTcar Series Champion Billy Decker, the Fulton Speedway stars will be locked and loaded to defend home turf in a 100-Lap SDS battle royal against series outsiders.

Drivers expected to come and try to steal the ‘Highbank Holdup cash are Matt Sheppard, Tim Fuller, Brett Hearn, Justin Haers, Erick Rudolph, Peter Britten, Tyler Dippel and others.

Just like the Modifieds, Ronnie Davis III the Fulton SUNY Canton Sportsman Champion will lead the charge of a stout field of track regulars against DIRTcar Sportsman stars in a 50-Lap Series event.

The holdover E&V Energy Novice Sportsman race from the 2014 Outlaw 200 Weekend has now been moved to Saturday.

It is open to any Novice Sportsman who wants to participate. The line-up from Outlaw Weekend will still be in effect, with any additions added to the rear of the field.

Any Novice Sportsman that wants to attempt to qualify for the Sportsman DIRTcar Series is permitted to do so without affecting their Novice standing. Being a DIRTcar event you, must follow DIRTcar rules.

That includes a rev-chip. If you need a 6000 RPM chip for the MSD box, Scott Jeffery’s Performance has them in stock.  (315) 934-4120 http://www.sjpplus.com/
