Fulton Speedway Set To Host Modified And Sportsman Super DIRTcar Series

FULTON, NY – All the off-season car shows are over, race shops are busy with last minute details and race fans are beyond excited to put the long winter in the rear view mirror and start the 2015 racing season.

The Fulton Speedway will kick off the season in a huge way with the Super DIRTcar Series ‘Highbank Holdup Weekend’ April 24-25.

On Friday night the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds will have a night to shake their cars down with heats and a 35-Lap feature leading up to Saturday’s Super DIRTcar Series event. Also on the race card will be the exciting NAPA Late Models, Pro Race Cars Mod Lites and the holdover E&V Energy Novice Sportsman feature from the 2014 Outlaw Weekend.

On April 25 the Fulton Speedway Big Block Modified regulars led by Track Champion Larry Wight, defending Super DIRTcar Modified Series Champion Billy Decker, Jimmy Phelps, Pat Ward, Rob Bellinger, Tom Sears Jr., Chad Phelps, and other Fulton Speedway talent will look to defend their home turf against series invaders. Invaders will include Brett Hearn, Matt Sheppard, Justin Haers, Erick Rudolph, Stewart Friesen and Peter Britten to name a few who will look to take the 100-Lap victory and bring the ‘High Bank Holdup’ cash out the Fulton pit gate at the end of the night.

To make Saturday’s event a home run and must-see the Sportsman Super DIRTcar Series will kick off the 2015 season.

The Fulton Speedway regulars will be ready for all on comers. In 2014 the SUNY Canton Sportsman fields were strong enough that a consi was run the majority of race nights to set the feature field.

DIRTcar Sportsman rules will be in effect for this race. Go to www.dirtcar.com for more information.

Friday race action will get the green at 7 p.m. with Saturday starting at 5 p.m.
