GRANBY – On March 28, at approximately 4:29 p.m., State Police responded to WalMart on State Route 3 in the town of Granby for a larceny complaint.
State Police interviewed asset protection members who advised that Nichole D. Burr, 20, of Fulton, had entered the store the previous evening and left with multiple electronic devices and cables without rendering payment, police said.
She allegedly then returned to the store on March 28 and attempted to return the items for cash; then ran out of the store when approached by asset protection staff.
Burr was identified by WalMart staff based on previous encounters.
State Police attempted to locate Burr and take her into custody.
She was later arrested in Onondaga County on two active, unrelated warrants, and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center.
Burr was transferred to State Police custody on April 26, processed at SP Fulton for Petit Larceny, a class “A” misdemeanor, and arraigned in the Town of Volney Court.
She will be transferred to the Oswego County Jail upon her release from the Onondaga County Justice Center on May 26.
She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Granby Court on June 6 at 7 p.m.
Burr was transferred back to the custody of the Onondaga County Justice Center following her arraignment.
