The third quarter awards assembly recognized fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth graders who excelled during the latest marking period.

Each award recipient received a certificate of achievement and celebrated with a pizza party.

“You have all done a remarkable job and should be proud of your accomplishments,” Principal Shawn Morgan said to the award winners. “This ceremony speaks to the hard work and effort you have put into your school work and your commitment to being here every day.”

Morgan also challenged the honorees to continue their strong work ethic into the fourth quarter and to finish the year strong.
