Have Fun At Public Computing Center In Digital Media Club For Adults

OSWEGO, NY – The Public Computing Center at Oswego Public Library offers a Digital Media Club for young people of middle school age.  Recently, the instructors thought “Why should the kids have all the fun?  Let’s have a Digital Media Club for adults.”

Young people in grades 5 to 8 have fun playing Wii fit in the Oswego Library Community Room during Digital Media Club. Adults have an opportunity to join their own Digital Media Club in April at the Public Computing Center.

If you think that using a computer is work, these Digital Media Club workshops will give you a new outlook by helping you learn skills you can use to entertain yourself in your leisure time.

Adult Digital Media Club provides a time for people to have fun with computer technology.  During club time, from 6:15 to 8:15 on Wednesday evenings, you can create digital art and photography using computers, learn about and use fun websites, and work on individual creative projects in a comfortable and supportive environment.

To sign up for Digital Media Club at the Public Computing Center, please call 341-5867 or visit the main desk at Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St. in Oswego.

The staff of the Public Computing Center is also available to help people with anything technology related whenever classes and workshops are not in session.

All classes and assistance are free and are provided through a Broadband Technology Opportunity grant.
