‘Holly Jolly’ Christmas Party Set at First United Church

The second annual Holly Jolly Christmas Party for adults will be hosted by the Open Doors Neighborhood Center of First United Church of Fulton on December 2 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Snow Belters Barbershop Quartet from Oswego will be the featured entertainment.

Additionally, old-fashioned Christmas songs will be sung, games of wit and wisdom will be played, and tasty refreshments will be shared including donated goodies from Cathy’s Cakes of downtown Fulton.

This event is open to the community and is offered free of charge.

The Open Doors Neighborhood Center was established by the First United Church of Fulton in order to build bridges of hospitality and friendship with the greater Fulton community.

Ever Tuesday morning the center is open for coffee fellowship, table games, Wii, shuffleboard, a walking group, and other organized activities for older adults.

The next major activity will be the second annual Family Christmas Experience scheduled for December 14 at 6:30 p.m.

This event will feature crafts, storytelling, fun Christmas songs, and refreshments.

It, also, is open to the community and is offered free of charge.

First United Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

The congregation is active in the greater Fulton community through the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches and many other avenues of sharing.

The facility is handicap accessible and offers hearing assistance.
