</p>Keke PalmerThis young up and comer with talent beyond her age has accomplishments that span from film and television to music.  Palmer’s 2007 debut pop/R&B album “So Uncool,” is anything but.  The twelve-city tour to support the release showcased her singing talent as Disney’s 2007 Jingle Jam Tour headliner, while also bringing cool to uncool for children of all ages.  Further securing her place among the young talent of her generation, Palmer also signed a music publishing deal with Cheery Lane Music Publishing Company, Inc. in 2007 and signed on to headline Sanrio Inc.’s official Hello Kitty CD with the track “Come on, Come on” scheduled to be released later in 2008.

Having also starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Jump In!” in January of 2007, Palmer was featured on the movie’s sound track with the notoriety of having been the only artist with two songs on the track.   Palmer’s experience in the entertainment industry is not limited to just her singing talent, but the big and small screens as well. Palmer made her first appearance with a small role in the feature film “Barbershop 2: Back in Business” at only nine years old.  Following was a series of guest-starring roles on television shows including “Strong Medicine,” “Cold Case,” “ER,” and “Law and Order.”

Of most recent note Palmer was the title character in “Akeelah and the Bee” working opposite actors Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett.  This breakthrough performance gained accolades and nominations from several industry critics and organizations.  “Akeelah and the Bee” was listed on NBR’s 2006 Top Independent Films of the Year in addition to four nominations from the NAACP Image Awards.  Palmer took home an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Motion Picture as well as the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Motion Picture by the Black Movie Awards.   From Hollywood to Harborfest Keke’s singing talents are sure to be one of the coolest performances at Harborfest this year.

Also performing at the WOLF Radio Disney Concert are Brock Storm Timmerman and Ashlee Keating.  Timmerman combines pop music with his southern roots to create his own original sound. He began his ascension to pop music notoriety with a musical interest at only four years old; by the age of ten he was traveling the nation.  Now at the age of eighteen he is recognized as one of pop’s freshest new talent.

Keating, a singer, dancer, and actress has been performing professionally since the age of three.  She has appeared in the Broadway production of the “The Sound of Music” and by the age of 10 she was selected to appear on “CBS Star Search.” This multi-talented 14 year old will also be dancing and singing her way to Harborfest with this all star line up.

The WOLF Radio Disney Concert sponsored by Novelis follows the Harborfest Children’s Parade, which begins at 11 a.m. in West Park and ends at Breitbeck Park. Of the concert, Novelis spokesperson states “”Novelis welcomes the opportunity to support Harborfest.

We look forward to seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces as they enjoy the high quality entertainment on the Labatt Lakeview Stage. This form of entertainment is energizing and family-oriented, a very positive portion of the festival which supports Novelis’ mission.”
