OSWEGO – Local businesses who want to make sure they are listed as potential vendors for Oswego County government can now submit information about their business through the Oswego County Purchasing Department Web site.
Businesses can fill out a form that includes information about the company and the types of products, such as highway equipment, building materials, consultants, and police equipment, that they wish to be listed as potential vendors.
The form can be accessed at www.oswegocounty.com/purchasing/vendor.
“Oswego County government is very interested in reaching out to as many local vendors as possible,” said Purchasing Director Fred Maxon. “We’ve upgraded our ability to gather information through the Web site and update our lists of potential vendors. This new feature will make it more efficient for vendors and for the county to keep our database current.”
