Local students receive Transfer Achievement Scholarships from SUNY Oswego

OSWEGO, NY — SUNY Oswego has awarded Transfer Achievement Scholarships to a select group of students from the area who started at the college in fall 2018.

The awards are part of about $7 million in merit scholarship money offered at SUNY Oswego. These funds are in addition to approximately $80 million in need-based grants, loans, work-study and scholarship awards that SUNY Oswego students receive annually.

Bryon P. Valencia of East 6th Street in Oswego a anthropology major, has received a Transfer Achievement Scholarship and Destination Oswego Scholarship as a new transfer student at SUNY Oswego.

Miranda Clary of Gardenier Road in Oswego a childhood education major, has received a Transfer Achievement Scholarship as a new transfer student at SUNY Oswego.

Brooke G. Fralick of State Route 104B in Mexico a business administration major, has received a Transfer Achievement Scholarship as a new transfer student at SUNY Oswego.

Kimberly J. Holbrook of Bankrupt Road in Phoenix a childhood education major, has received a Transfer Achievement Scholarship as a new transfer student at SUNY Oswego.

Molly A. Beck of Liberty Street in Mexico a wellness management major, has received a Transfer Achievement Scholarship as a new transfer student at SUNY Oswego.

Amanda L. Blake of Mount Pleasant Road in Fulton a biology major, has received a Transfer Achievement Scholarship as a new transfer student at SUNY Oswego.

Kassidy L. Myers of Ames Street in Mexico a accounting major, has received a Transfer Achievement Scholarship as a new transfer student at SUNY Oswego.
