FULTON, NY – (By Dave Medler) – After his SUNY Canton Sportsman second place finish July 20 at the Fulton Speedway, Matt Janczuk’s GM 602 Crate engine was removed from his car and taken to the LJL/Kevlar engine shop for closer inspection to ensure it was legal by Fulton Speedway’s engine rules.
The rules allows for no internal modifications of any kind within a sealed bolt package in key locations on an engine.
Upon visual inspection, and testing on the LJL/Kevlar engine dyno, Janczuk’s engine has been deemed legal by GM 602 Crate Engine specs and returned to the race team.
