Mayor Gillen Announces Appointment Of New Plumbing Inspector

OSWEGO, NY – Mayor Tom Gillen is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald G. Tesoriero Jr. as the new Plumbing Inspector for the city of Oswego.

The Common Council passed Resolution No. 337c on July 28 officially appointing Tesoriero as the city’s Plumbing Inspector, effective August 11, 2014.

He replaces Robert T. (Chow) Culeton, who recently resigned from the position, which he held since 2001.

Tesoriero is a lifelong resident of Oswego, and a 35-year member of Local 73 Plumbers & Pipefitters.

He has been a licensed Master Plumber with the city of Oswego since 1988 and a certified instructor, teaching plumbing and pipefitting for Local 73 for more than 20 years.

He has also served on various boards and committees within the community.

Tesoriero is married to the former Maureen Galvin, and they are the proud parents of two children and grandparents to two granddaughters.

Mayor Gillen said that Tesoriero is looking forward to serving as Plumbing Inspector for the city of Oswego and hopes to work to improve the quality of life for Oswego’s citizens.

  1. This mayor needs to dump his “quality of life” moniker for something more realistic: “quality of justifying more tax revenues”
