Merry Stitchers Knit for Others

	  The Merry Stitchers is a group of ladies from the Pennellville United Methodist Church in Pennellville. They meet weekly to knit and crochet items for distribution to various groups in central New York, including the VA hospital in Syracuse, area nursing homes and most recently, the Oswego County Humane Society. To date they have contributed 115 small blankets which accompany the cats adopted from the Humane Society to his or her new forever home.  Front row: Joyce Godfrey, Rev.
