Oswego, NY – Michelob Ultra and Eagle Beverage Company have partnered as sponsors of the upcoming Tri-Oswego 2013 Triathlon, according to Tri-Oswego Race Director Shane Broadwell.
“Michelob Ultra and Eagle Beverage have been strong supporters of the Tri-Oswego Triathlon since the race’s inception,” said Broadwell. “Year-after-year, they provide our event with added values for our participants, including the food and beverage area, that greatly complement the other race day activities. We greatly appreciate their partnership.”
According to Dan Dorsey, Jr., of Eagle Beverage Company, Michelob Ultra continues to be a major national sponsor of triathlons, running and cycling events, and their strong corporate branding efforts will once again be in full display at this year’s triathlon.
“The Tri-Oswego has become a major event for triathletes throughout the Northeastern United States,” said Dorsey. “Oswego provides the perfect landscape for this type of venue, and Eagle Beverage and Michelob Ultra are excited to partner with the event once again in 2013.”
The USA Triathlon sanctioned event will include a Sprint, Intermediate, and Sprint Relay Tri race again this year. The Novelis Kid’s Fun Run, and the new Tri-Oswego Splash and Dash for children 11-15 years of age are also planned for June 15th.

Athletes that register between May 1st 2013 and June 7th 2013 will pay $100 for the Sprint, $110 Intermediate and $240 for the Sprint Relay. There are no refunds and registrations are nontransferable. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for approval.
All proceeds will benefit youth development programs throughout Oswego County through the Oswego County Sunset Group.
