OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Players are happy to announce they have a new director on board.
Richard Mosher has recently completed his directorial requirements for the group and will be debuting his talents in the Players’ December presentation of “Silent Night, Lonely Night,” written by Robert Anderson.
Mosher has tons of theatrical experience, both on stage and behind the scenes.
A talented lighting designer and technician, he has lit many of the Players’ recent productions.
As an actor, he has appeared with the Oswego Children’s Theatre and the Oswego Players for years and is now ready to direct his first full-length play.
Choosing a cast is the first hurdle a director faces and it appears Mosher has chosen well. “Silent Night, Lonely Night” includes names familiar to Oswego audiences: Julia Preston, Jon Altman, Amanda Mosher, Quinn Etchie, Knate Roy and Ryan Smith.
SNLN is not a typical Christmas story, but more on that another time.
Production dates are scheduled for Dec. 3, 4, 9 and 10 at 8 p.m., with a matinee Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Frances Marion Brown Theatre, Fort Ontario Arts Complex.
Ticket prices are $10/adults, $8/seniors and $7/students.
They may be reserved by calling the Players’ Box Office at 343-5138.
