OSWEGO COUNTY – Coffee lovers searching for a place to enjoy a freshly brewed cup; along with conversation and a warm, comfortable place to relax, have  now found a haven between the Northern Oswego County villages of Sandy Creek and Pulaski.

Deja Brew, located at 5257 U. S. Route 11, is a health and wellness cafe/coffee shop offering gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan dining, as well as fresh fruit juices and smoothies.

Owner Kimberly Hilton returned to the North Country after a period of time living in the Miami, Florida area; and saw an opportunity to start a unique business, owing to the lack of cafes in the area.

Hilton wanted to create something that offered a superior experience to that which is found in chain store coffee shops – both in the quality of food and beverage choices, as well as the atmosphere.

Hilton said that she wanted to create  a quiet space with “good vibes” – a place where people could work remotely in a comfortable atmosphere, or just relax with friends.

Since opening, Deja Brew has been busy hosting events such as bridal and baby showers, along with birthday and tea parties. Future plans include adding open mic nights and poetry readings.

With an extensive menu that changes frequently, Deja Brew is a great place to meet friends; or just enjoy some quiet time with a warm cup of something wonderful and a healthful meal.
