The Fulton Lions Club will hold its annual All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday April 10, at the Fulton Polish Home, it was announced by club President, Fred Aldrich. The club will also be collecting eyeglasses, cell phones and hearing aids at the event.
“In addition to the best pancakes and scrambled eggs anywhere, we’re offering apple and cherry fruit toppings; plus fresh, hot griddled home fries,” Aldrich said. “The community always turns out in a big way to support this event, and we’re asking them to remember to bring in used eyeglasses, cell phones and hearing aids so we can recycle them for re-use.
“It’s important to note that the breakfast is not on Palm Sunday, when we have held it in the past, but the Sunday before.
Breakfast chairman Lion David Dingman said “Because of the favorable response we received from diners last year, we will again offer fresh, grilled breakfast sausage instead of pre-cooked brown ‘n’ serve sausage. There will also be a 50-50 cash drawing at 1 p.m. and additional information on how the Fulton Lions Club serves the Fulton community,” Dingman said.
Several local businesses are also supporting the event with donations from Dunkin’ Donuts, Stewarts Shops in Minetto, PathFinder Bank, Burke’s Home Center, Waby Opticians, Fulton Walmart, and Rowlee Construction.
Tickets, available at the door, are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $3.50 for children aged 5 – 12, and free for children under 5.
