OSWEGO, NY – The Emergency Assistance Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County will host A.P.P.L.E.S. (Adopting Positive & Practical Life-styles for Eating) Nov. 19 through 21.
A.P.P.L.E.S. is a series of workshops focusing on nutritional education.
Participants will learn the benefits of smart shopping, serving fruits and vegetables to your family, healthy eating tips and food safety.
The workshops will be held from 9 a.m. until noon at Catholic Charities of Oswego County, 108 E. Sixth St., Oswego.
A.P.P.L.E.S. is sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Oswego County.
