Friends of Fulton Park Presents: A Day in Foster Park

FULTON, NY – This Saturday (June 10) Friends of Fulton Park, as sponsored by Oswego County Federal Credit Union, will present a day full of free fun at Fulton’s Foster Park.

Located just off the Oneida Street bridge on the west side of the city, Foster Park has been in Fulton since 1937 when it was established under the name dedicated to the first mayor of Fulton, James A. Foster.

This year, the volunteer non-profit group dedicated to restoring Fulton’s parks, Friends of Fulton Parks will host “A Day in Foster Park.”

Saturday, June 10 from noon until 4 p.m. the park will be welcome to kids of all ages for hours of free family fun.

The event will include music from KingKat DJ Music, an inflatable obstacle course, bottle flipping contests, horse rides, an animal show, face painting, games, and more.

Food will be available for purchase from Tricky Dick’s Roadside Grille.

Scheduled events include:

12:00 – 2:00 – G&G Animal Show

1:30 – Prize awards for Parks Writing Competition under pavilion

1:00 – 3:00 Horse rides

2:00 – 4:00 Face painting

Any and all members of the community are encouraged to join in the fun.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and pets must be on a leash.
