
FULTON – Councilor Don Patrick was honored at the Waste Treatment Facility on April 17th by Mayor Rice, Commissioner CJ Smith, and fellow council members, including Tommy Schimpff, Kevin Fowler, Councilor Rhonda Campolieta, Councilor John Weldin, and Councilor Mike Farnham. The gathering celebrated Mr. Patrick’s extensive contributions to the city while he is still actively serving.
Councilor Patrick expressed heartfelt gratitude for being recognized during his lifetime, emphasizing his dedication to his role. With many years of experience, he has been a steadfast advocate for the residents, using his in-depth knowledge of city operations to effectively address community concerns.
“His unwavering commitment to Fulton is matched only by his willingness to invest personal time and effort into ensuring the best for his ward and the city as a whole,” Councilor Avery remarked, highlighting Patrick’s commendable dedication to public service.
Councilors Campolieta and Weldin spoke passionately about Patrick’s influence on their development as council members, describing him as a role model for anyone committed to community involvement. “Don has been my mentor,” Councilor Weldin shared. “He’s always available to help, whether it’s early in the morning or late at night.
Patrick’s willingness to share his knowledge and provide guidance has been invaluable to his colleagues. Councilor Weldin noted, “His insights and advice have played a significant role in helping us navigate the responsibilities we face as elected officials.”
