Fulton Man Accused Of Sex Crimes

OSWEGO – A Fulton man is behind bars, facing felony sex charges involving children.

At 5:45 p.m. Tuesday (May 3), Adam M. Wheeler, 20, of 106 Leitch St., Fulton, was arrested for first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors, a class D felony; promoting sexual performance by a child, a class D felony; and use of a child in a sexual performance, a class E felony.

The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred in the town of New Haven.

He allegedly induced the victim to engage in a sexual performance while using a computer communication system.

Wheeler was arraigned in New Haven Town Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $75,000 cash or $125,000 bond.

He is to return to court on May 5.
