Fulton Police Investigating Deaths Of Mother, Infant

UPDATE, 3:30 P.M.:  Fulton Police say that an autopsy by the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s office shows that Jalit Richardson died of natural causes.  She had a pre-existing health problem.

The infant’s death is still being investigated but police do not believe it is suspicious in nature.  They say there is no sign of foul play in the child’s death.

FULTON, NY – On May 17, 2011 at approximately 1:43 p.m., the Fulton Police Department responded to a report of a possible unattended death at 463 ½ S. First St.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the deceased bodies of 25-year-old Jalit Richardson and her two-month-old daughter inside the apartment.

At this time, the deaths do not appear suspicious in nature.

However, the Fulton Police Department is continuing with its investigation into the incident and is awaiting a determination on cause of death from the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office. missing or outdated ad config
