Fulton Teachers’ Association Honors Outstanding Students

FULTON – The Fulton Teachers’ Association held their annual awards ceremony to recognize outstanding students and school citizens in each of the six Fulton CSD schools.

More than eighty students were honored at the event, which was held at G. Ray Bodley auditorium on Tuesday, May 14. Students were announced by members of the Student Recognition Committee and called up according to their school. Recipients were recognized for a variety of reasons including academic excellence, overcoming obstacles and civic involvement.  The evening concluded with refreshments in the auditorium lobby.

“For the past 24 years, the FTA has been recognizing students who have left a positive impression on the adults in the district,” said Karen Noel, Executive Vice-President of the FTA and one of the event’s organizers. “We have 3,126 students in our district this year and the district honored 81 fabulous students with this prestigious award.”

  1. Ray Bodley High School recipients include Ashton Abdallah, Giovanni Bellavia, Tyler Bryant, David Ciprian, Gavin Cole, Joseph Cortini, Joshua Fredenberg, Liam Hartle, Breanna Murphy, Riley Niver, Remy Pitcher, Markelle Reed, Rihanna Sparks, Samantha Treneer, Summer Trevino, and Aiden Trude.

Fairgrieve Elementary School recipients include Channasy Bartlett, Gia Bellavia, Claire Bentley, Emily Calkins, Madison Casper, Arturo Clarke, Anakin Knickerbocker, Tatum Lemons, Julius Lightfoot, Devin Seymour, Mya St. Onge, Kendra Turner, Eugene Webster, and Oliver Wheeler.

Granby Elementary School recipients include Cody Bickford, Brayden Blasczienski, Jayde Clark, James Farfaglia, Nicole Kennedy, Hazel Kimball, Carly Kingsley, Micheala Lorraine, Justin Ramirez-Abrams, David Rodriguez Barrios, Jacob Sierra, Jaylen Vescio, and Kage Whelsky.

Lanigan Elementary School recipients include RalphE Dana, Eva Kraus, Gracie Mae Mattice, Ahna Nodine, Elise Pierce, Giada Raponi, Dylan Reed, Kaleb Relf, Emma Ringland, Olivia Rivers, Lewis Steinbrecher, Wylie Watson, and Lucion Yates.

Volney Elementary School recipients include Ivan Baldwin, Kaleb Gould, Wyatt Gulliver, Parker Hicks, Natalee Holmes, Kora Lehtonen-Peets, Braelyn Myers, Nathaniel Rhode, Elijah Sixberry, Elijah Stoddard, Ava Thurlow, and Jack Wihera.

Fulton Junior High School recipients include Michael Best, David Braymiller, Airyanna Cooper, Alexa DeForest, Nick Goss, Zarchy Kane, Ruthie Niver, Seth Potter, Ella Przychodzen, Mckayla Quimby, Sullivan Strong, Lauren Thornber, and Klaire Vant.
