Fulton’s Schremp Scores “Sick” Goal For NHL’s Islanders

Fulton’s Robbie Schremp, long a YouTube sensation for his creative goals in minor hockey, finally has one from the NHL to put on his highlight reel.

Schremp languished last year with Edmonton, earning the scorn of his then-coach, who said Schremp hadn’t proven he could play in the NHL and he was tired of hearing questions about Schremp.  He played 7 games in 3 seasons with Edmonton, spending most of his time in the minors.

Schremp moved on to the Islanders this season.  In 25 games, he has 5 goals and 9 assists, with a plus/minus of minus-2.  He scored two goals last night. No matter what else he does, he’ll be remembered for his amazing goals, and the one he notched last week is among his best:

  1. This goal was not his second from last night. It was from last week. Last night he had 2 goals against the Red Wings.
