Each year, Longley Dodge holds a car show of which a 50/50 raffle collects money to be donated back to the Fulton community.

Starting four years ago, Longley Dodge began making an annual donation to local organizations such as the Fulton Athletics Boosters and in most recent years, the Fulton youth sports programs.

This year, Longley Dodge raised $1,800 total at the car show held on August 6 to split evenly among the four sports programs, equaling $450 for each program.

The Fulton Pop Warner football and cheerleading, Fulton Youth Hockey, Fulton Youth Basketball and Fulton Youth Soccer programs all benefited from the donation.

“We offer a free learn to play hockey program on Sundays for kids eight and under. This would not be possible without donations from businesses like Longley Dodge,” said president of Fulton Youth Hockey Jeff Schremp.

“Fulton youth basketball is fortunate to have Longley brothers as a community partner for our program. Their generous support allows for scholarships for kids in our program,” said the director of Fulton Youth Basketball Sean Broderick. “We sincerely thank Longley Brothers Dodge for their continued support of Fulton youth basketball.”

Broderick noted that aside from their monetary support, there are several Longley Dodge employees that also donate their time to volunteer for the program.

“It’s really generous of Longley Dodge to give back to the community, especially our youth sports programs to give our kids something to do and keep them active. We truly appreciate their support for our kids,” said president of Fulton Youth Soccer Lisa Gerth.

Longley Dodge General Sales Manager, Chris Atwater said it’s important to the Longley Brothers Dodge team to give back to the community they serve.

“We just like to give back to the community and keep the kids busy in sports. It won’t cover all of it, but just to help pay for any upgrades, equipment, or expenses these programs have,” Atwater said.
