Pennellville couple arrested for Criminal Contempt

On May 2, at approximately 10 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on Peter Scott Road in the town of Schroeppel for a traffic violation.

Investigation at the scene revealed the operator, John F. Doyle, 40, and passenger, Tanya L. Doyle, 35, both of Pennellville, were both in violation of valid stay-away orders of protection between them.

Both were taken into custody and charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor.

They were arraigned in the Town of Volney Court, released on their own recognizance.

They both are scheduled to appear in the Town of Schroeppel Court on May 4 at 5:30 p.m.
