Phoenix Man Dies In Accident In Granby

A Phoenix man is dead after an accident early Sunday in Granby.

State Police say Roy A. Clark, 34, of 294 County Line Rd., Phoenix was driving along County Route 8 at about 5:40 a.m. Sunday morning. His Mitsubishi ran off the road at an “S” curve and traveled 400 feet, flipping over several times.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three people in Clark’s car were injured. Justin M. French, 20, of Caughdenoy Rd. Clay; Cheryl A. Root, 24, of Paddy Lake Road, Oswego; and Shannon L. Defio, 20, of Blackwood Dr., Syracuse were taken to University Hospital in Syracuse.
