Report: Fulton Woman Admits Guilt

NewsChannel 9 reports that a Fulton woman accused of manslaughter in the death of her infant daughter today admitted to a lesser crime.

9 month old Reba Landers died of hyperthermia, police say, when she was left in an overheated camper on a hot day in July.

Sara Landers was charged with manslaughter in the child’s death but NewsChannel 9 reports today she pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide, a charge that will likely bring some prison time when she is sentenced.

  1. If Landers was allowed to plead guilty to a lesser charge , all that means is the police didn’t have the proof to charge her with the more severe crime !
