School bus driver arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child

HANNIBAL – On May 12, State Police charged Hannibal School District bus driver William E. Combes III, 26, of Martville, with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class “A” misdemeanor.

Combes stands accused of having telephonic communication with a female student outside of school hours and picking her up from her residence without parental knowledge or consent.

Combes is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hannibal Court on May 23, at 7 p.m.

The investigation is continuing.
