MEXICO, NY – Runners sped through the quiet streets of Mexico, New York on the morning of Sunday, September 17, enjoying the competitive tradition of the annual Cider Run 5K road race.

The racers enjoyed comfortable temperatures under partly sunny skies as they made a lap of several of the Village’s side streets, while volunteers from the Mexico Volunteer Fire Department and several local Police Agencies managed the crossings of more heavily traveled roads.

A lap of the track at Mexico High School completed the course, with supporters cheering on the runners as they finished their effort.
