New York State’s 22-member Climate Action Council, established under the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, will hold a meeting on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, to continue its work on a statewide Scoping Plan to guide the State toward its nation-leading climate goals.
As authorized by Chapter 1 of the Laws of 2022 enacted on January 14, 2022, and in keeping with measures designed to limit the spread of COVID-19, the meeting will be conducted by teleconference. Members of the public are welcome to listen to the meeting via webcast.
