Five Seek BOE Seat in Oswego City School District

OSWEGO, NY – Five people are seeking a position on the Oswego City School District Board of Education.

Voters will go to the polls on May 20.

Submitting petitions and indicating their intention to seek a seat on the Oswego City School District Board of Education are:

Thomas Dehm, John Dunsmoor, Brian Haessig, Michael McLaughlin and Samuel Tripp.

The terms of incumbents Dunsmoor, McLaughlin and Tripp expire on June 30.

The three candidatess receiving the most votes on May 20 will serve three-year terms and will take their oath of office at the reorganizational meeting in early July. missing or outdated ad config

  1. Please folks….the ex-president of the OCTA teachers union? Please get out and vote for 3 people other than him. Brian Haessig if you recall went to a school board meeting about 10 years ago and publicly told the school board that OCTA needs to be the number one priority of the school district. Yes, you read that right folks, not even the CHILDREN are able to rank high enough on Mr. Haessig’s list. I will happily find the school board meeting minutes for any teacher who would want to dispute the fact that he said this.
